Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FundMatrix ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this Platform.

2. Nature of Service

FundMatrix provides independent research, analytics, and data visualisation for Indian mutual funds. The Platform is an information service only. It is not a stockbroker, investment adviser, portfolio manager, or mutual fund distributor as defined under applicable Indian law. FundMatrix is not registered with SEBI, AMFI, or any regulatory authority in any advisory capacity.

3. Permitted Use

You may use this Platform for personal, non-commercial research and informational purposes only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, scrape, reverse-engineer, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from any data, scores, rankings, methodologies, algorithms, or content from this Platform without express prior written permission from FundMatrix.

4. Proprietary Intellectual Property

The following are the exclusive proprietary intellectual property of FundMatrix and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and all other applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws: (a) FundMatrix Stability Score — The scoring methodology, algorithm, five-pillar weighting framework (Return Consistency, Drawdown Resilience, Risk-Adjusted Stability, Cost Efficiency, and Scale Momentum), band classification system, and all related computations are proprietary to FundMatrix. This methodology may not be reproduced, disclosed, reverse-engineered, or used to create competing or derivative scoring systems without express written consent. (b) Branding — The name "FundMatrix", the FundMatrix logo, the tagline "Find the pattern in every fund", and all associated visual identity are the property of FundMatrix. Unauthorised use of these marks is prohibited. (c) Platform Content — All original written content, analytical commentary, fund rankings, category analyses, and newsletter content published on the Platform are copyright © 2026 FundMatrix. All rights reserved. (d) Third-Party Data — NAV, TER, and AUM data is sourced from AMFI India and remains the property of AMFI and the respective mutual fund houses. FundMatrix makes no claim of ownership over this underlying data.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform by automated means; (b) use the FundMatrix Stability Score or any derived metric in any commercial product, publication, or service; (c) represent FundMatrix scores or rankings as your own analysis; (d) use the Platform to build a competing fund analytics or scoring product; (e) circumvent any access controls or usage limits on the Platform.

6. No Investment Advice

Nothing on this Platform should be construed as investment advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any mutual fund scheme or any other security. The FundMatrix Stability Score is an independent analytical metric and does not constitute a buy, sell, or hold recommendation. Users should make their own independent assessment or consult a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser before making any investment decisions. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Please read all scheme related documents carefully before investing.

7. Premium Features

Certain features of the Platform, including the Fund Screener and saved screens, are available exclusively to premium subscribers. Premium access is granted at the sole discretion of FundMatrix. FundMatrix reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue premium features at any time. Subscription fees, if applicable, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

8. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify FundMatrix immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. FundMatrix will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your credentials.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FundMatrix shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Platform; (b) any investment decision made in reliance on Platform content; (c) errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in data sourced from third parties including AMFI.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India. FundMatrix encourages resolution of disputes through good-faith negotiation before initiating legal proceedings.

11. Modifications

FundMatrix reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
